The calendar New Year arrives with January. With 2025 ending a nine-year in numerology indicating completion of a cycle, 2026 begins a new nine-year cycle with this being a one-year that signals initiation. Yet stepping into a new cycle does not guarantee immediate clarity. The mind may drift toward worry or second-guessing. But this moment, if used consciously, can redirect our thoughts toward the emerging possibilities of the new nine-year arc.

Winter begins on December 21st at 10:03 AM EST, when the Sun leaves Sagittarius and enters Capricorn, marking the winter solstice. The longest night of the year in northern latitudes, daylight contracts to its thinnest thread; from this point on, light begins its slow, steady return.

December arrives with a distinctly lighter tone, lifted by the Sagittarius Stellium. With the Sun, Mars, and Venus all moving through the sign of the Archer, curiosity expands, horizons widen, and optimism begins to rise. The collective mood feels more adventurous now — less preoccupied with shadows, more inclined to look outward and upward, confident that something promising lies beyond the familiar.

We enter November with heightened emotion, sharpened intuition, and a renewed can-do confidence that seems to arise from somewhere deeper than personality — as though soul memory itself is stirring.

October begins with the autumn equinox kite pattern still echoing in the heavens, the three transcendental planets — Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto — highlighted as if holding the stage lights on transformation itself. Intentions may be strategically laid out and, with the help of technological tools and streamlined methods, capable of being set in motion.

As the wheel of the year turns and daylight yields to twilight, Autumn 2025 begins with a breath both crisp and uncanny.  The season opens on September 22nd, when the Sun enters Libra [2:19 PM EDT], marking the autumn equinox.

The way forward this September is ascension in consciousness, even when the road feels anything but direct. This is not a month for simple answers or straightforward paths.

We begin the month of August with a cosmic tone that may feel more heavy than harmonious. Many of us could enter this new month carrying a chip on our shoulder, shouldering burdens, or simply feeling that life’s demands are piling on unfairly. Emotional sensitivity may be heightened, and the longing for escape, or at least understanding, can surface early.

July begins with us assuming a ‘can do’ attitude and with a skittishness that would dampen any narcissistic tendencies and prevent us from going overboard in our actions or our decisions.

We come into June with the two powerpacks in Aries and Gemini at the fore with us under their influence desiring to connect with someone who truly appreciates us and complements our life.

Despite the heavy dose of Water as we come into April with the three planets in Pisces and Mars in Cancer, early April can be a time when we blend old and new or could build new trajectories on solid ground.

March could prove one dicey month as we carom between the urges of springtime and the contractive qualities of the past.
