Each individual and every organization, nation and event has their own birth chart. In an individuals case, the chart is set up for the time, date and place of birth.
For a nation, an organization or a corporation; the chart is set up for the
time, date and place of its founding or incorporation. And an event chart is
established at its time, date and place of happening.

FEBRUARY 2003
Twenty-Oh-Three... 2003... A Year of Change...
During this year of 2003, we have two significant planetary changes --- Saturn
entering Cancer for a two and a half year cycle and Uranus entering Pisces
for a seven year cycle. On a numerological basis, the year 2003 is a 5 year
[2 + 0 + 0 + 3 = 5].
Five is the number of Man and represents every thing human. Five is the middle
number, the balance point, in a nine year cycle. Like a fulcrum, a Five year
is a year of balancing, and in that balancing we have the dynamic of change.
Five years are indicative of change, freedom of movement, explorations into
new terrain.
Indeed this year is likely to see significant change. We are certainly likely
to see it with the movement of Saturn and Uranus. Saturn ends its two and a
half year cycle of Gemini. During that period, we saw the telecommunications
industry go under significant strain culminating in two major corporate bankruptcies:
WorldCom and Global Crossing. The promise of fiber optics and the potential
of diverse companies laying down underground lines were not realized. Rather,
like every new thrust, there was a sense of overconfidence, a sense of people
being ready for the next wave of technological advances. The reality did not
match the expectation.
As Gemini is ruled by Mercury and is indicative of communications, perhaps
it should not have surprised us that the communications industry contracted.
The much ballyhoed merger of media giants America Online and Time Warner proved
to be nothing more than a disaster. And we saw communications take an interesting
turn in the corporate realm, as creative accounting to the point of falsification
became the operating standard. We also witnessed the continuing decline of
the equity markets, initiated first by Saturn being in Taurus, then crescendoing
with the obvious market psychology of greed or fear. The greed
impetus of the 1990s had given way to fear and the markets showed evidence
of that, as historically high price / earnings ratios started to fall as the
prices of corporate stocks declined.
The heaviness on the land was punctuated by the Saturn - Pluto
opposition between August 2001 and June 2002. With the Saturn in the sign of
the twins, Gemini, and Pluto in the sign of foreign interests, Sagittarius,
we also witnessed the foreign attack on US soil with the commandeering of commercial
jets and use of them as flying bombs to destroy the twin towers of the World
Trade Center and attack the Pentagon.
And yet, the transit of Saturn, while at times depressive, also allowed us
to consider what we believed to be truly important in our lives. A seriousness
of thought may have asked us to reflect on what we wanted from our life experience.
People made changes, some times to the tune of one step ahead, two steps
back
and two steps ahead, one step back.
It is always important to consider the steps taken during the different phases
of cycles. And I would ask you to consider the changes made during the process
of Saturns transit of Gemini. What alterations to your life occurred
over the past two years?
You may find that even if your external world did not radically change, that
you as a person have been transformed.
Now, we have Saturn about to leave Gemini and enter Cancer. I have warned of
one likely effect of the Saturn transit of Cancer: the burst of the housing
bubble boom.
There is a saying, wise yet often slighted, which states: those who
do not learn from their history are doomed to repeat it.
Saturn in Cancer... U.S.... George W. Bush...
With the Saturn entrance into Cancer on June 3rd, Saturn enters the sign of
its detriment which it will transit from June of 2003 through mid-July of 2005.
Saturn rules Capricorn, the opposite sign of Cancer. As Saturn goes through
Cancer, we are likely to find tests. delays, restrictions and obligations in
those things that are related to Cancer. Cancer is the sign of home and family.
Therefore, it would not be surprising to find housing and realty property come
under restraints. The housing boom of the past few years may indeed turn to
a bust. There are those who point to the demographics and assume that the demand
for housing will continue to see price appreciations, albeit not to the extent
of the past few years.
I remember a few years ago, during the late 1990s, when people suggested
that the business cycle of expansion-contraction had been superseded by the
new technologies and prescience of the Information Age. During those times,
I felt like a pariah calling into the wind in my suggestions that there would
be an eventual contraction, a recession, even the possibility of a depression.
I drew the analogy to a rubber band being stretched to its very limits, the
snap of which would be sharp and painful. We saw it with the implosion of the
dot.coms. Are we likely to see it with the housing market?
People tend to wear blinders. We forget our lessons from our history. We negate
the examples of others that may parallel our own. One example that we forget
is the property devaluations in the 1990s that occurred in Hong Kong
and in Japan, and continue today in Japan.
The Pollyannas stand out there drawing upon those factors that make their case.
Like wishful-thinking they refuse to look from peripheral vision and consider
variables that may not be operational at the moment but come into play and
influence further down the road. Those variables are becoming increasingly
evident and suggest a contraction in the housing market and difficult times
for those ruled by Cancer.
Like night and day, the brilliance of the Jupiter transit of Cancer from July
2001 through July 2002 is being followed by the heaviness of a Saturn transit
from mid 2003 through mid 2005. Jupiter represents expansion, exuberance and
confidence. Saturn represents contraction, restriction and depression. While
Jupiter provides us opportunities and a sense of good fortune, Saturn asks
us to carry a heavy load and gives us only what we have earned.
As both the United States and its President, George W. Bush are ruled by Cancer;
the energies for the U.S. and for President Bush become increasingly difficult
as of this June period.
The last time Saturn transited Cancer was during the period of April 1974 through
mid-September 1975, with a brief return between January and June of 1976. That
time in U.S. history saw the beginning of impeachment hearings against President
Richard M. Nixon and his subsequent resignation in August of 1974. In the 1975
State of the Union address, President Gerald Ford, who had succeeded to the
Presidency on the resignation of Nixon, declared: The state of the Union
is not good. In April of 1975, the U.S. withdrew from southeast Asia
after a long, bloody and losing involvement. In May of 1975, the U.S. merchant
ship Mayaguez was seized by Cambodian forces. During a rescue operation by
the U.S. Navy and Marines, 38 military personnel were killed. During the last
Saturn transit of Cancer, the U.S. was going through a time of high inflation,
high unemployment and deep recession, a recession that was the longest and
deepest since World War II. The U.S. was trying to establish an Energy Independence
Program to create greater energy self-sufficiency after being held hostage
to the Oil Cartel. Things were not great in the U.S. during the last Saturn
transit of Cancer.
This forthcoming Saturn transit of Cancer will conjunct the four Cancer planets
in the U.S. chart [Venus, Jupiter, Sun and Mercury], square one [Saturn in
Libra], oppose another [Pluto in Capricorn] and sextile the Neptune in Virgo.
Restrictions and constraints to the U.S. can be quite strong, especially when
we take into account another planetary configuration that will be operating
during 2004 and 2005.
Pluto T-Square for the U.S...
This other planetary configuration is the transiting Pluto in Sagittarius creating
a Mutable Sign T-Square as it opposes the U.S. natal Mars, then later squares
the natal Neptune. A prelude to this energy could be evidenced during the Full
Moon in February, February 16th, when we have a Mars Pluto conjunction only
just beyond orb of an opposition to the natal U.S. Mars. Whether we go to war
or not, the saberrattling during this February period on can prove quite intense.
The 2004 - 2005 Pluto T-Square certainly speaks to some element of violent
outbursts or warlike energies. Please recognize, as I have suggested before,
that when I speak of war Im not referring to conventional warfare as
we have known it. My concerns have been, and continue to be, the war of terrorism
with weapons used including suicide bombings, biological and chemical attacks,
and cyberattacks to disrupt the information superhighway of the internet.
I believe the nation will be hard-pressed. I think the excesses of the 1990s
have not fully played themselves out, and we are likely to see further contraction
in asset valuations. I do believe the housing market is perched for a boom
into bust scenario. As I have written before, the easy credit of the 1990s
has allowed people to overleverage themselves. With economic contractions come
difficulties in meeting bills and payments on the debt load.
I believe the housing market will contract especially as of this coming summer
of 2003, at first in particular local markets where the economics of dislocation
can provide a squeeze. Then it may have ripple effects where the increased
valuations of housing over the past few years is cut away. As well, I believe
we are likely to see continued pressure on the equity markets, where stocks
even despite their falling stock prices these past three years still continue
to be at abnormally high price / earnings ratios. Already, people are cutting
their losses in regard to the stock market investments. And with the parade
of corporate abuses, executive extremes and creative accounting practices;
many are likely to stay away from the equity markets for quite awhile.
I believe that some war is inevitable, whether it begins this year
or not. I had felt that a strong period for it to occur energetically would
be this mid-February period. But whether there is an incision or not, the U.S.
does seem embroiled in warlike activities over the next two years. And the
battlefield is unlikely to be only on foreign soil.
In the 2005 period, with the transiting Pluto squaring the Neptune in Virgo
in the U.S. chart, I would have concern both in regard to employment statistics
and more importantly the health or well-being of the nation. I do believe we
have been subject to biological attack, a sentiment openly shared by one U.S.
Senator and intimated by another U.S. Senator.
It would be easy to fall into fear, especially with the psychological metronome
of greed & fear swinging away from greed and focusing now on
fear. Such a reaction would only compound the problem.
The issues that are likely to face the U.S. over the next three years may be
severe, but they also provide an opportunity. The opportunity lies in the reawakening
of the true American spirit --- the spirit on which this nation was founded.
The choice will be a conscious move from might makes right to a
spirit of right makes might. For while the country will be perplexed
and challenged by the Saturn transit of Cancer and the transiting Pluto T-Square,
the Uranus transit from Aquarius into Pisces may prove the Saving Grace.
George W. Bush...
Before I address this second significant planetary movement in 2003, I do feel
it necessary to address the chart of President George W. Bush, who similar
to the nation is ruled by Cancer. Born July 6, 1946; George W. Bush is a Cancer.
We have seen the effects of the Jupiter transit through Cancer on Mr. Bush.
A President who lost the popular vote to his Democrat opponent gained the Presidency
through the electoral vote that was highly contested and disputed. At the time
of his inauguration, more than one mainstream periodical raised the question
of the illegitimate president. Water over the dam, for George W.
Bush was inaugurated President on January 20, 2001.
I have mentioned it before, and I wish to remind you again, that the election
of 2000 occurred during the cycle of presidential elections ending in a zero.
This cycle is often referred to as
Tecumsehs Curse after the Shawnee Nation Indian Chief who
is said to have cursed his adversary William Henry Harrison and the U.S. Presidency.
Astrologically, the curse
is aligned with elections occurring during a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in
an Earth sign. This conjunction occurs every twenty years and during periods
when the years end in a zero. Since 1840, every U.S. President elected during
the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in an Earth sign has died in office. 1840 -
Harrison... 1860 - Lincoln... 1880 - Garfield... 1900 - McKinley... 1920 -
Harding... 1940 - Roosevelt... 1960 - Kennedy... In 1980, the Jupiter-Saturn
conjunction occurred in an Air sign, and President Ronald Reagan completed
his two terms in office. In 2000, the Jupiter - Saturn conjunction occurred
again in an Earth sign.
During the transit of Jupiter through Cancer, President Bush basked in an astronomical
approval rating. And at a time when the country was under assault by terrorism,
economic contraction, and increased security concerns.
In June of 2003, Saturn enters Cancer, and Mr. Bush may find his popularity
slipping. Night and day. Jupiter provides expansion, exuberance and good luck.
Saturn enforces restrictions, delays and obstacles. During 2003, Mr. Bush is
also experiencing transiting Pluto opposing his natal Uranus, which rules both
his 7th House and his 8th House. Combined with the Saturn entry into Cancer
and into his 12th House, I do have concern for Mr. Bushs personal well-being.
There can be attempted assaults on Mr. Bush with the explosive Pluto - Uranus
configuration. And explosive behavior on his part. One time that he would have
to watch for is this mid-February 2003 period, when the Mars - Pluto conjunction
will be in orb of opposing his natal Uranus. But the whole period from 2003
into 2005 seem to be particularly difficult for Mr. Bush. His popularity seems
to slide and situations that have not been fully disclosed could come forward
in damning revelation. I also have great concern for his general physical health.
A sense of exuberance and overconfidence, even overreach, can put him into
a more reactive position as we move into the Fall period of 2003.
Please remember: that once things are set into motion, they often have to work
themselves out. There are times when actions taken from a particular vantage
point which seem all well and good at the time, turn into situations that move
from opportunities into mistakes, misactions, disasters.
Towards the end of 2003 and into early 2004, Mr. Bush may find himself embroiled
in situations that he can only respond to and react to. A particularly stressful
time for the President.
In astrology, as in any form of analysis, the more information we have, the
better our understanding of the situation is. Just as I have been a big fan
of the forthcoming prospects for Microsoft, based both upon the companys
chart and Bill Gates
chart; having relevant information regarding the organization and the leader
of the organization flushes out the trends and tendencies that lie ahead.
Apart from the U.S. chart and President Bushs chart, both of which indicate
a more constrictive and contractive period coming up --- from this February
period on, with an acceleration in difficulties as we move toward the second
half of 2003 and into the early part of 2004; we also can look at the incorporation chart
of this Administration, or the Inauguration chart. As determined by the 20th
Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the President is now inaugurated on the
20th day of January at twelve noon.
In looking at the Bush Administration chart, set up for January 20, 2001, the
August 2001 into June 2002 would seemed to have been especially difficult.
It was a time of transiting Saturn opposing transiting Pluto, a planetary configuration
that was adversely impacting the Administrations natal Moon, Pluto and Venus.
The Administrations chart will continue to have transiting Pluto conjuncting
its natal Moon.
With a natal Moon conjunct natal Pluto, this Administration is perceived in
a very passionate way --- either people really love this Administration, or
they really dislike it. There is little gray area in regard to the Administrations
popularity.
An area where I do have concern upcoming, is the question of finances. Increased
security, economic contractions and financial restrictions will speak to the
question of surpluses turning to deficits.
A major factor in my decision to run as a petition Independent candidate for
the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2000 election was my belief that we,
as a nation, were squandering opportunities during the most prosperous of times.
I recognize the law of cycles that are evident in nature and in natural law.
We see it with the tides, the diurnal motion of the sun, the seasonal changes
based upon the ecliptic. From my graduate studies in business when I was getting
my MBA, I also became aware of business cycles --- expansions and contractions,
or at their extreme, booms and busts. During the 2000 election, I emphasized
the importance of using our federal budget surpluses to pay down the national
debt and create a cushion for future contingencies. Although we are conditioned
for immediate gratification, I believe the rainy day theory to
be a far sounder one.
Be that as it may, I did not win the election and my concerns for our nation
are becoming increasingly validated.
In the U.S. Administration chart, we are likely to see increased expenses especially
as of this late Spring 2003 period into 2004. Transiting Uranus will be squaring
the Administrations natal Jupiter located in its 1st House and ruling
both the 8th House and the 12th House. The expenses associated with increased
security and the war on terrorism are likely to come in at a terrible cost
--- both in terms of the well-being of the nation and in financial terms.
Please recognize that our adversaries are not interested in a single win, but
rather a contracted process that diverts our attention and wastes our resources.
Their war is a war of attrition.
The Administration also faces a transiting Neptune squaring its natal ascendant
/ descendant. Total clarity in the Administration may be lacking, with possible
vacillations in policy and in goals. We have already seen it in regard to foreign
policy --- with the more cautious approach of the U.S. Secretary of State Colin
Powell opposed by the more belligerent approach of the Defense Departments
Secretary Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and Richard Perle. As well, our opponents may
play a cat and mouse type of game, conceding or acquiescing at times, only
to raise the stakes or threaten at other times. Being thrown off guard by changing
positions can increase the costs, since variables demand being ready for options.
As we come toward the mid-Summer period, a certain heaviness can fall upon
the land. The sense of protracted engagements and the realization that there
are no immediate resolutions are likely to cast a pall on the nation. After
all, we as a nation have more of a tendency to want our dramas to come to a
speedy
conclusion. Weve been conditioned that way. Our television programs,
our movies, even our elections become bothersome if they dont have some
quick wrap-up and final resolution.
To realize that we, like the Israelis, may be having to deal with threats of
constant assault will be hard to accept. To understand that we, like the Japanese,
may see our economic dreams turn into hellish nightmares will be hard to deal
with.
And yet, while the nation, Mr. Bush and his Administration may find dark and
difficult days ahead, there is a shining light that offers salve, even salvation.
Uranus in Pisces
As we come into March, Uranus exits its own sign of Aquarius and enters Pisces.
Although Uranus will go back into Aquarius from mid-September through December
of 2003; Uranus is ending its seven year transit of Aquarius and ready to enter
a seven year transit of Pisces.
While a planet is stronger in its ruling sign, since the planetary energy and
the sign are more compatible in such a situation, Uranus enters Pisces at a
time when Neptune in transiting Aquarius. Since Uranus will be transiting the
sign ruled by Neptune and Neptune is transiting the sign ruled by Uranus; we
have what is referred to as a Mutual Reception between Uranus and Neptune.
Consequently, these two planetary energies are strengthened in their influence.
These two planetary energies represent higher frequencies, transcendental energies
that speak to both the intuitive, spiritual energies of Neptune and the insightful,
synchronistic energies of Uranus. With these two planets in mutual reception
over the next seven years, their energies can provide a tremendous influence,
and an element of saving grace from the more mundane, even anachronistic, ways
of life and societys way of living.
The Uranus / Neptune configuration can allow for a greater understanding of
lifes purpose and even a turn away from the imbalance of the past few
years when the balancing act between material and spiritual realms indicated
in the saying render unto Caesar that which is Caesars and unto
God that which is Gods was lost to Caesar virtually getting it
all. The over focus on the material realm may now shift to a spiritual awakening,
a renaissance of deeper values and a rebirth for the search of the meaning
to life.
We may see this Spiritual renaissance occurring in Christian theology, which
is largely tied to the Piscean Era. If you will consider the symbology used
in Christian theology, you will see it replete with Piscean symbols --- the
symbol of the fishes drawn in the sand by the early Christians to identify
themselves one to the other, the turning of water [Pisces element] into wine,
the making of disciples as fishers of men, the casting of bread upon the waters,
walking on the water...
We may see a Spiritual rebirth, as people seek greater meaning in their life.
Such a quest will certainly include an increased popularity and democratization
in organized religious institutions. We may see more of a lay ministry, as
the hierarchical traditions break down and allow for greater popular involvement
in the teachings and application of spiritual principles.
We can see a greater blending of spiritual seeking and psychological understanding.
We can see a greater balance between Eastern philosophies, with their non-attachment
and diminishment of the ego to become void and one with the source, and Western
philosophies, with their pro-active approach and the search for the Holy Grail
that allows the transcendence of the soul essence over ego personality. Integration
may become the hallmark of these days ahead. But the journey is likely to be
individual by individual which then grows into groups and liaisons, all the
while emphasizing the individual process of spiritual renaissance.
At the same time, the mutual reception of Uranus and Neptune can provide the
catalyst for the growth of the biotech industry. With Neptune associated with
drugs, chemicals and the healing profession and Uranus associated with electro-magnetism,
transcendent understanding and advanced technology; the blend of these two
energies can see great steps forward in regard to the understanding and development
of new healing arts. Alternative therapies, integrative healing
and syntony between the patient and the healing process can take
the place of the invasive, intrusive, slash and cut practices of recent medicine
conventions. We are also likely to see how the importance of attitude plays
in medicine and the healing arts --- attitude both in the sense of mindful
and soulful commitment to the healing process and also in the ethos of the
practitioner and the fine line between natural evolution of understanding and
the manipulative control of the power-driven ego personality.
Advances in technology are likely to be striking. Computer technology may move
increasingly to the visual as we transcend the boundary between the visual
world and the energy world by jumping across the barrier and limitation of
the verbal communications. Those familiar with the study of Semantics, and
the works of Alfred Korzybski and his later disciples, know that the verbal
world is a step-down from the energy world. That, if we see every thing as
energy, then the verbal definition of that energy world is far more limited
and restrictive than all encompassing. In times past, it has allowed us to
share thoughts, feelings and grope to a common understanding. But remember
the old saying: A picture is worth a thousand words.
The focus on high technology moving from the advances on word processing to
visual representation will allow for greater acceleration and better common
understanding. There is in deed a greater acceleration occurring in the world
and in our lives. The speed-up demands a greater level of flexibility and asks
us to let go of old solutions to present problems. The shift from old paradigm
to the new paradigm can be harder if we expect that the ways we have done it
before will work into the future. They are unlikely to do so.
However, part of the Mutual Reception in regard to the Uranus - Neptune configuration
can also allows us to increasingly think outside the box. Empirical thinking
and the reasoning of rational mind can be superseded by the increased use and
faculties of insight [a.k.a. revelations] and intuition.
We are moving to a new world in which we have to be brave, but flexible. As
the Taoist saying reminds us: bend like a reed or break like an oak.
The entry of Uranus into Pisces can provide a saving grace for the U.S. Although
the U.S. chart will be impacted by the Saturn transit of Cancer, recognize
that Saturn also represents the past. The Saturn transit through Cancer can
provide a karmic harvest for the U.S. While the country may be hard-pressed
with past situations asking for resolution, the Uranus in Pisces will be trining
those 4 U.S. Cancer planets. The concept of a different way will be essential
for the U.S. Thinking outside the box and being open to the innovative, iconoclastic
and insightful can be ways for the U.S. to shapeshift into a country that can
be stronger, but stronger only by rediscovering its essence, its values and
choosing to be a world leader based upon spiritual right and not physical might.
The transiting Pluto opposing the U.S. natal Mars and then squaring the U.S.
natal Neptune provides the catalyst for transformation. Transformations are
not easy if we choose to stay rigid and hold on to the ways of the past. In
such instances, we go through our crucifixions until finally like the mythological
bird the Phoenix, we rise from our ashes --- resurrected --- to soar ever higher.
An area of concern in the days ahead, and especially with Uranus entering Pisces,
will be the resource of contention. With Pisces associated with drugs, chemicals
and oil; we may find that there are changes in regard to oil, natural gas,
and other fossil fuel supplies. With Pisces being a water element, we can indeed
move from the toxic, polluting and life-diminishing non-renewable energies
of the petrochemical industries toward the use of water, and especially the
development of hydrogen cells as a fuel source.
Even more important is the resource that can prove the trigger for antagonism
and conflicts in the future --- fresh WATER.
With the climate changes that I wrote of more than twenty years ago in my book Earth
Changes Ahead, we are increasingly likely to see the preciousness of fresh
water supplies. Whether it is the depletion of aquifers through overuse, whether
it is the assumption of being able to turn desert lands into verdant
landscapes, whether it is the misuse of water supplies through the toxifying
of these resources; we may increasingly find that fresh water is a precious,
and increasingly scarce, resource. Even rain water has been toxified by particulate
matter in the atmosphere creating what has been referred to as acid rain,
whereby even the most pristine lakes have been turned into dead lakes.
Increasingly, the importance of consciousness and accountability will be seen
in the determination of the quality of life in the future. Already, many people
are choosing to leave the planet. As I have suggested before, there is a mass
exodus under way. Many people are choosing not to cope with these conditions
or future concerns.
I would suggest, however, that we have the incredible opportunity of transformation
and changing conditions in virtually the blink of an eye. While we might assume
that the problems facing us are overwhelming and beyond the scope of one individual
or a society divided; such an attitude dispels these times of metamorphosis
and synchronistic happenings. The Uranus-Neptune configuration can truly allow
for what we might term miracles. But miracles are only those things that seem
beyond the possibility of occurring. Miracles, in truth, are situations that
incorporate variables that we have been unable to anticipate... Synchronistic
happenings that seem beyond the ken of our understanding... Or, as Carl Gustav
Jung referred to them as acausal relationships.
We are on the threshold of change. We are moving from one paradigm to a new
paradigm, and the shift is the radical change in conditions, and ways of operating.
As we open to the possibilities of what might seem impossiblities, the magic
and miracles can truly occur in our lives.
Jupiter in Virgo...
Another planetary movement this year is the transit of Jupiter exiting Leo
and entering Virgo. Jupiter has a twelve year cycle around the zodiac and consequently
transits one sign each year. The Jupiter transit of Leo has been interesting,
especially with the rise in the metal associated with the Sun --- gold. Gold
has increased in price by 25% this year. With Jupiter transiting Leo, it would
not be overly surprising to learn of golds increase in value.
At the end of August 2003, Jupiter exits Leo and enters Virgo, the sign of
its detriment. Although many astrology books refer to Jupiters rulership
of Sagittarius, they tend to neglect mentioning that the ancient planets of
Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn each rule two signs --- one positive
sign and
one negative sign. In Jupiters case, the planet rules the positive sign
of Sagittarius and co-rules [along with Neptune] the negative sign of Pisces.
While Jupiter would be in its own sign as it transits Pisces, the transit of
Virgo places Jupiter in the sign opposite Pisces or the sign of its sign of
detriment, where the planet is not the strongest. With Jupiter transiting Virgo,
from the end of August 2003 to the end of September of 2004, energies associated
with Virgo can be highlighted. There may be greater focus regarding:
1. employment opportunities, or difficulties
2. health issues, with the focus on either well-being regimens or health concerns,
especially those associated with gastrointestinal problems.
In November and December of 2003, transiting Jupiter through Virgo will be
involved with a T-Square, as it squares transiting Pluto in Sagittarius and
opposes transiting Mars in Pisces. A high intensity time, with increased anxiety
and potentially negative effects upon economic matters.
2003... a year of change... a year for
the shamanic transformation of shapeshifting...
