August 2007 Archives

August 1, 2007

August

Traditionally, August is the month when many people take their summer holiday. In fact, August is the month when most people leave town to bask in the golden summer sun. And why not? For August is the month of the Sun being in its own Sign of Leo, at least for the first three weeks of the month.

This August begins with four planets in Fire Signs, two planets in Earth Signs, one planet in an Air Sign and three planets in Water Signs. One planet is in a Cardinal Sign, four planets are in Fixed Signs and five planets are in Mutable Signs. Five planets are in Positive Signs, and five planets are in Negative Signs.

We start the month still feeling the influence of the Fixed Sign T-Square created by transiting Mars through Taurus triggering the Saturn Neptune opposition that has gone on since last Autumn. We have seen its effects with its whipsaw motion of questioning whether we’re dealing with fact or fiction in the equity markets and in our own judgment of reality, whether we’re dealing with true reality or some form of illusion. By Sign, this opposition continues on into September when Saturn ends its two and a half year transit of Leo and enters Virgo.

Although we may still feel the influence of the Saturn Neptune opposition and might feel as though we’re walking on eggshells through a minefield where anything can occur and our semblance of security can be shaken at any moment, we also have a sense of exuberance thanks to the fiery nature of the early part of this month.

Not only do we have the Sun in its own regal Sign of Leo until the 23rd, Jupiter turns direct on the 6th. Before we get there, the beginning of the month has the Sun trine Jupiter on the 2nd. We may be feeling far more confident, expansive and exuberant than we have been. With the Sun trine Jupiter we can regain our confidence and recognize that any recent blockages were only as if we had stubbed our toe. It may have been a painful misstep but not a lasting catastrophe. Our exuberance and optimism re-emerges and we’re ready again to put our mark on everything we do. Suddenly, we get a second wind. We’re determined to make our plans a reality.

On the 3rd, Mercury sextiles Mars. Our optimism can be blended with well thought-out plans and strategies to maximize our efforts and seek our optimum. Even if we assumed our resources were limited, we can find a way to make them work for us. With Mercury sextile Mars, we could come up with inventive ideas to stretch a dollar and put on a show that is dazzling and impressive without breaking the bank. A caveat remains that we need to be certain whether we are dealing with the facts of a situation or are being mesmerized by the images and appearances. Blueprinting our moves, utilizing strategic planning and downplaying any wish fulfillment would go long ways towards creating both realistic goals and the most appropriate and expeditious means of realizing them.

On the 4th, Mercury enters Leo, adding more fuel to the Fire. With Mercury in Leo, we now have a stellium of three or more planets in the Fixed Fire Sign with the Sun, Mercury and Saturn all in Leo. We also now have five planets in Fire Signs with the three planets in Leo and Jupiter and Pluto in Sagittarius. We’re looking for fun, seeking recreational activities, and wanting joy in our living. We might decide now is the time to step off the track and take a holiday or, at least, a break from our daily routine.

On the 6th, Jupiter ends its four-month retrograde cycle and turns direct. Going through its own Sign of Sagittarius, Jupiter direct can better express and externalize its qualities of expansion, exuberance and optimism. Also on the 6th, Saturn trines Pluto. Now is a time when we can rebuild, rework and restructure. Since we have the ability to see the very basics and the fundamentals and the essentials of a situation, we can now build solidly on rock rather than putting something up merely on sand. Our fire is turned up and our creative spark ignited. We are not like a shooting star blazing across the midnight sky only to burn out. Our efforts are well-considered, and our actions measured and methodical. We can accomplish a great deal at this time.

The second week of August could see a great deal of shifting, repositioning and trying to find the right stance. Jupiter turns direct on the 6th, Mars leaves Taurus to enter Gemini on the 7th, and Venus retrogrades out of Virgo and back into Leo on the 8th. We may feel tossed and turned during this second week of the month. We may want to fast forward but we could find our fast forwarding has us going in several different directions.

The Fixed Sign T-Square by Sign that we’ve been feeling ends on the 7th when Mars leaves Taurus and enters Gemini to create by Sign a Grand Cross in the Mutable Signs with Mars in Gemini, Venus in Virgo, both Jupiter and Pluto in Sagittarius and Uranus in Pisces. As Mars enters Gemini on the 7th, Venus squares Mars which could provoke irritations in our contact with others. We might find that people are making demands on us. Someone may expect something from us that would only distract us from realizing our personal best. If we are looking for encouragement and support right now, we need to look to ourselves.

The Mutable Sign Grand Cross shifts into a Mutable Sign T-Square on the 8th with Venus exiting Virgo and entering Leo. With Venus coming into Leo, our stellium of three or more planets in one Sign is increased to the four planets transiting Leo: the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn. We now have six planets in the Fire Signs --- hot, hot, hot. This intensity is turned up severalfold on the 12th with the Leo New Moon with six planets in Leo and the Sun Moon conjunction opposed by Neptune.

During this fortnight from the New Moon on the 12th–13th to the Full Moon on the 28th, we have to be especially careful of the trickster --- people, events and situations that appear one way, the reality being totally different. We could easily fall into wish fulfillment, assuming that our optimism and enthusiasm can make things happen the way we want them to. While our vitality and verve to realize our dreams can be strong, we need to focus on a practical approach and use the most appropriate means in order to achieve our intentions. We need to be careful that we don’t rush headlong into anything until we are certain as to where we are going.

The potential for confusion is ratcheted up on the 12th, 13th, 14th with the New Moon on the 12th, Sun exactly opposed Neptune on the 13th and Mercury exactly opposed Neptune on the 14th. During this time, we could easily fall prey to snake oil salespeople, hucksters and scam artists. We also have to watch that we don’t portray that role on ourselves. We might be deceived, even disillusioned, if we don’t step carefully and proceed with due diligence. We might make assumptions based upon our desires and what we want to be true rather than the reality of the situation.

This mid-August period has a great deal of energy configurations going on. We start with the New Moon on the 12th-13th, followed by the Sun opposed Neptune and Venus conjunct Saturn on the 13th. On the 14th, Mercury opposes Neptune. On the 15th, Venus trines Pluto and Mercury conjuncts the Sun. On the 17th, Mercury conjuncts Venus, Mercury trines Pluto and Venus conjuncts the Sun. On the 18th, Mercury conjuncts Saturn and on the 19th the Sun trines Pluto.

Our ability to concentrate is almost laser-like. We can strip away the nonessentials and get to the heart of any matter. If we harness our drive and our determination, we can effectively blend brain and brawn, using the force of our will with insightful means to achieve our goals. It will be important to check on our actions and consider our decisions as we go along, a process of slowing down and reviewing before speeding up again.

During this mid-month period, the transiting Leo planets oppose Neptune, conjunct Saturn and trine Pluto. We may feel like we’re in a maze, going from one direction to the other, occasionally coming to dead ends, having to turn around and start over again. This maze could prove a labyrinth whereby while it may seem that we’re walking in circles, in truth we have the ability of discerning and separating the substance and reality from the image and appearance, and then focusing on the essential and the fundamentals. We are in search of greater meaning for our lives. Even if we’re on holiday, having stepped off the track, we still have the ability of collecting our thoughts, considering our options and determining a course of action that truly speaks to us.

Let’s remember that while many of us may be on holiday or vacation during this August time, this month is also a month of preparation for getting back on the fact track, back into our daily routine and back into our normal life circumstances.

We start to pick up some of that energy on the 19th as Mercury enters its own Sign of Virgo, followed on the 23rd by the Sun entering Virgo. The sense of Summer drawing to a close may be poignant as we feel the weight of our responsibilities bearing down on us.

Before the Sun enters Virgo, the Sun conjuncts Saturn in Leo. Some of our greatest plans might seem thwarted. Our recent drive and passion can seem like idle musings as past issues rise up to be addressed, outstanding matters demanding our attention. We could feel a little overwhelmed by everything that is going on at this time. A sense of fatigue, exhaustion and lethargy could come over us. If we keep our wits about us, then we could also create the foundations on which to build our projects, establish guidelines by which to move our interests forward.

At the end of that week, shortly after the Sun enters Virgo on the 23rd, we have the Mutable T-Square fully engaged with Mars opposed Jupiter on the 23rd, Mercury square Jupiter on the 24th, and Mercury square Mars on the 25th. We could be juggling a number of different situations now, some preparing for the Autumn ahead and our getting back on the track, others still seeking a respite from our lives by taking a few days off or enjoying the waning days of summertime. We can be hopping, seeking to expand our activities in our quest for fun and good times. We may push ourselves to extremes and gloss over details to embrace the bigger picture of what we want. Like a kid in a candy store, we could engage our sensual delights, wanting more and more, ever increasing our push to indulgence.

One thing we have to be careful of is jumping to conclusions. We may be trying to do so much that we allow important information to fall between the cracks. We need to slow things down, prioritize and not get confused by too much information or too much going on.

Also on the 25th, Venus opposes Neptune. We could misconceive other people’s intentions, possibly holding them to too high a standard and finding fault or projecting a character not in keeping with the reality and praising their apparent strengths. We could easily buy into appearance without considering the substance or the consequence of our decisions. Although in the back of the mind we know better, our actions may be driven more by impulse than well-considered moves.

With the twilight of Summer drawing to a close, we may want to ‘live for the day’. Let’s just be careful we’re not rash and excessive in a late Summer blow-out.

Towards the end of the month on the 28th, we have the Pisces Full Moon. With a Grand Cross in the Mutable Signs as the Pisces Moon opposes the Virgo Sun, squares Jupiter in Sagittarius and squares Mars in Gemini; we could be all over the place. Our emotions might go through a real whipsaw, up and down. We may feel buffeted by circumstance. The pace is accelerating rapidly and we need to pick up our pace to a sprint. We might feel on overdrive, having more on our plate than we intended. We need to be careful that our actions are not rash and impetuous. Otherwise, we could easily get carried away by the frenetic energy that can lead to us feeling frantic.

At the time of the Full Moon on the 28th, Mercury opposes Uranus, both in Mutable Signs. While we could get some startling insights, even ‘Eureka’ moments of solving problems long plaguing us, things are moving very quickly and we need to be nimble and quick to take advantage of sudden opportunities and to deal with unexpected situations. Defensive driving, backing up computer files and thinking before speaking are all cautionary suggestions to keep us from having problems and difficulties we may need to address and later rectify. We might not be able to slow things down but we can effectively deal with our schedule and unanticipated matters by picking up our pace and keeping our wits about us. With the Mercury opposed Uranus, our visionary sense can conflict with focused details. While we might come to some startling revelations and answers to problems that have plagued us for awhile, it would be essential for us to think outside the box and consider alternatives and recognize that we have many options to take into account before arriving at a definitive decision. Around this time of the 28th, I would question air travel and would certainly keep track of weather systems, as this configuration could speak to intense storm activity if the weather conditions warrant.

This August is a month when the fiery nature is turned up severalfold. Like a steam valve to release pressure, we too are likely to need an escape from our daily routine and find an outlet to express our energies and recharge our batteries. Towards the latter part of the month, we take on a far more sobering attitude but one that may demand a constant looking over our shoulder.

August… hot, hot, hot...

August 5, 2007

August 6h - 12th

This week is an active week with Jupiter turning direct, two planetary Sign changes and the Leo New Moon to end the weekend.

We may feel more determined to follow our bliss. Not everyone might applaud our passion and devotion. Someone could see us as self-centered and inconsiderate. While relationships can be a little testy this week, we have the ability to virtually move mountains.

We start the week with Jupiter turning direct and with Saturn trine Pluto. Our fire is turned up and our creative spark ignited. We are not like a shooting star blazing across the midnight sky only to burn out. Our efforts are well-considered, and our actions measured and methodical. We can accomplish a great deal this week.

If we are looking for encouragement and support, we need to look to ourselves. Venus square Mars could provoke irritations in our contact with others.

Mars leaves Taurus to enter Gemini. And Venus retrogrades out of Virgo to enter Leo. Before we get there, we might find that people are making demands on us. Someone may expect something from us that would only distract us from realizing our personal best.

It might only be a momentary distraction, for we are unlikely to be diverted. Mercury trines Jupiter giving us a sense of inspired uplift and the weekend ends with the Leo New Moon with five planets in Leo. Everyone is a star and standing in their own spotlight.

Monday, August 6th – Getting to the Core – Saturn, Pluto, Uranus, Mars, Lunar T-Square, Neptune, Venus, Jupiter direct. This Monday could prove one intense day. We may feel very conflicted today. Saturn trines Pluto which allows us to work smarter rather than harder and be more productive with less expenditure of energy. Our methods are likely to be structured, focused and concentrated on the fundamentals without much superfluous hanging around. We may feel impassioned and wanting to get things right and done in the most expeditious manner. Monday is a great day to strip away the non-essentials and to rebuild our activity list with emphasis on those projects and involvements that truly have meaning to us and serve a significant purpose to our lives. The Taurus Moon sextiles Uranus and conjuncts Mars. If we think outside the box, consider alternative ways of doing things and keep an open mind to our options, then we can move forward quickly and with a great deal of style. Where a problem could arise is the fact that the Taurus Moon also engages the Saturn Neptune opposition, with the Moon creating a Fixed Sign T-Square by squaring Saturn in Leo and squaring Neptune in Aquarius. If we haven’t sorted things out, cut to the core and become clear regarding what is truly important and what might be nice to hang on to, we could find ourselves dithering around, somewhat confused and caught in the vortex between fact and fiction, reality and illusion. Let’s remember that since last Autumn, we have had this Saturn Neptune opposition influence. Our test and our challenge has been to be as discriminating and discerning as possible, to see things clearly without looking through rose-colored glasses and to keep it real without falling into fantasyland of hopes, wishes and impossible prospects. Jupiter turns direct today ending its four-month retrograde cycle. Our optimism, enthusiasm and exuberance can now be channeled in productive ways and expressed in our daily actions. The latter part of the day has the Moon exiting Taurus and entering Gemini where it squares Venus in Virgo. We are likely to feel on overwhelm with too much to do and other people’s expectations for us as to what we should do. Let’s be careful not to have an edge on regarding our interactions with other people due to the Moon Venus square exact tomorrow.

Tuesday, August 7th – He Said, She Said – Venus, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars Gemini. Tuesday continues possible relationship issues that might have come us last evening. Today Venus squares Mars just as both planets are in process of changing signs, Mars just entering Gemini and Venus about to leave Virgo and retrograde back into Leo. The Gemini Moon sextiles Mercury and opposes Jupiter. Tuesday can be a day of mega talk, a lot of communication. The question arises whether we are speaking on the fly, from an emotional stance and more interested in the conversation than any deep, well-thought out discussion. We could be all over the place today, whether we are scurrying around or our mind is racing a mile a minute. While we might want to have the last word on everything, we do have to question whether we have taken into account the specifics, the particulars or are just mouthing words, thoughts and feelings without having evaluated what we are saying beforehand. Spur of the moment actions could be strong today. While we might have been champing at the bit yesterday, feeling the brakes being applied, today we might just go for it, unrestrained, even undisciplined, doing and saying whatever pops into our mind. Extremes are part of the energies occurring recently and we do need to watch for metronome action swinging from one side then the other.

Wednesday, August 8th – Ratcheting it Up – Sun, Neptune, Saturn, Lunar T-Square, Uranus, Pluto, Venus Leo. Wednesday is the second part of the twosome we’ve been experiencing for a while. First we have a Fixed Sign T-Square when we feel blocked, frustrated and having to deal with delays. Then we have the Mutable Sign T-Square when our nerves are ratcheted up and we’re likely to find ourselves flying off the handle and all over the place. If only we could moderate the two extremes --- not feeling as blocked and not feeling as hyper. Monday we had the Fixed Sign T-Square. Today we have the Mutable Sign T-Square with the Gemini Moon square Uranus in Pisces and opposed Pluto in Sagittarius. With Mars just having entered Gemini, by Sign our Mutable Sign T-Square is in fact a Grand Cross with all of the Mutable Signs being transited by a planet. With this type of energy operating today, we could be juggling various things. While the Moon also sextiles both the Sun and Saturn in Leo and trines Neptune in Aquarius, we could use our frenetic energy to get a lot done --- if we would work in spurts of energy, have several different irons in the fire, go from one thing to another but with a concentrated focus when we’re dealing with any one thing. Where a problem arises is that the Lunar T-Square deals with Uranus and Pluto. We are not interested in ‘same old, same old’. We want to break out of our routine, embrace the magic of being in the moment, and we want to stretch into unfamiliar terrain that is both appealing and has greater meaning for us. We could be looking at stepping off the track today, which is all well and good, and quite possibly very important to our mental health, but we can also take care of our obligations and deal with nurturing our future goals. Later in the day, Venus moves out of Virgo and retrogrades back into Leo, adding more fuel to the Fire of our Leo stellium of three or more planets in one Sign with Venus joining the Sun, Mercury and Saturn all in the Fixed Fire Sign of Leo. We’re looking for fun in the sun, seeking some of those summertime highlights and wanting to back in the glow of our own spotlight. Yes, we could become a little self-focused, even self-absorbed and we may see more than parade of the narcissists.

Thursday, August 9th – I’ll Sing in the Sunshine – Mercury, Jupiter, Venus. Thursday can be an uplifting and fun type of day. We’re likely to feel upbeat, inspired and looking to embrace the joie de vivre. Thursday has Mercury trine Jupiter. We’re not looking for parade rainers, for our thoughts are optimistic and we’re looking at stretching our wings. Today is a great day to take in some pleasurable activity, to enjoy re-creational pursuits and not to feel the weight of the world on our shoulders. The Gemini Moon sextiles Venus before the Moon moves into Cancer, its own Sign. We’re feeling more nurturing, less on edge. Instead of feeling that it’s us against the world, we can see the bright side of everything today. We do have to realize that our discernment may not be the strongest today. We’re not as interested in analyzing, evaluating or critiquing today. We are far more interested in ‘letting the good times roll’. This Thursday is a good day just to kick back and enjoy ourselves. If we want to consider possibilities, then our mind is certainly expansive today with a broad perspective. We are seeing the breadth of situations but probably not taking into account the depth. This can be a fun day. It would be wise to put aside any serious decisions today. We are far more interested in expansiveness and coming from an optimistic attitude than focused considerations and specifying particulars.

Friday, August 10th – Friday in the Summer – Uranus, Moon Void-of-Course. This Friday is a day when anything goes. The Cancer Moon trines Uranus. We may want to put a different spin on everything we do today. We could go shopping for an accoutrement to our homes, an accessory to our wardrobe, or just have a total personal makeover. We’re not looking to be tied down today. On the contrary, we may want to be footloose and fancy-free. Whatever grabs our interest may take us for a ride. We’re likely to feel light and airy. A walk down by the beach, rafting down the river or boating out on a lake could all have special pulls for us today. By getting off the track, we can get both a fresh perspective and an understanding of the changes we may want to make for this upcoming Fall. We’re interested in streamlining our lives, not feeling so overwhelmed by our responsibilities and having some down time to take advantage of whatever comes our way. Another great day to just take it as it comes, with our antennae up and work with peripheral vision for any unexpected surprises that come our way. Even if we have major plans for today, we might need to let go of our expectations. After the Moon trines Uranus, the Moon goes Void-of-Course making no further aspects, or connections, to the planets before it leaves Cancer to enter Leo tomorrow morning, a Void-of-Course Moon that is almost twenty-two hours in length. Not a great deal of energy will be around for much of the day for us to accomplish a great deal except to enjoy the lazy, hazy day of summer.

Saturday, August 11th – Get Your Motor Running – Mars. Saturday begins with a bang and a thrust out the door. The Leo Moon sextiles Mars and we’re likely to be feeling our oats and wanting to get out and about. Our Saturday activity list may be chocked full with great adventures. But our adventures may be more samplings rather than long-term involvements. We may spend a little time here, a little time there. We want to be on the go and cover as much ground as possible. Fun and pleasurable events are highlighted today, and we’re likely to go the extra mile if something teases our interest. We’re not looking for anything serious today. We might even put some of our errands aside to do another day. We’re playful and looking to enjoy ourselves.

Sunday, August 12th – Let the Games Begin – Leo New Moon, Sun, Jupiter, Mercury, Neptune. Sunday gives us the Leo New Moon with a great deal of Fire. At the New Moon we have five planets in Leo and two planets in Sagittarius. Talk about Fire! Yipes, this energy could be too hot to handle, especially with the Leo New Moon opposed Neptune. Once again, (isn’t it becoming redundant?), we have the question of fact or fiction, reality vs. illusion, staring us square in the face. We have to be especially careful that we don’t get carried away with ourselves. We could easily fall into assuming our hopes and wishes to be readily realized. We might be prey to fool’s gold, buying into an image or a possibility without checking the facts and figures. If we provide ourselves with a restraining force, then we could actually balance our vision for our future with a structured means of achieving our goals. That’s a lofty ideal and one that might be a little beyond our reach. So, let’s be aware that we could go blithely off, whistling a happy tune and thinking that everything will work out in the end. At least, we’re feeling upbeat and energetic, even if we may be a little mad into delusion. Now is a far better time to focus on having fun, without extreme sports, rather than trying to be too practical.

August 13, 2007

August 13th - 19th

We could have some difficulty getting our bearings as we start this week. We need to be careful that we don’t rush headlong into anything until we are certain as to where we are going.

This week begins with the Sun opposed Neptune, Venus conjunct Saturn and Mercury opposed Neptune. We might make assumptions based upon our desires and what we want to be true rather than the reality of the situation.

If we take our time and are fully aware of the conditions around us, then things can move quickly in the second half of the week. We don’t have to spin our wheels.

With Venus trine Pluto and Mercury conjunct the Sun, we can re-engage our passions with a focused intent. Later in the week, the momentum picks up. Mercury conjuncts Venus, Venus conjuncts the Sun and Mercury trines Pluto. Our ability to concentrate is almost laser-like. We can strip away the nonessentials and get to the heart of any matter.

On the weekend Mercury conjuncts Saturn and the Sun trines Pluto with Mercury leaving Leo to enter its own Sign of Virgo. If we harness our drive and determination, we can effectively blend brain and brawn, using the force of our will with insightful means to achieve our goals. It will be important to check on our actions and consider our decisions as we go along, a process of slowing down and reviewing before speeding up again.

Monday, August 13th – Dazed and Confused – Sun, Neptune, Venus, Saturn, Pluto, Mars. We start the week without a head of steam. On the contrary, we may feel wiped out, listless and confused. Responsibilities might demand our attention, and we could feel begrudging to our commitments or what we need to do. We just may not have the energy to get going today. The Sun opposes Neptune, Venus conjuncts Saturn and the Leo Moon, while it trines Pluto, conjuncts both Saturn and Venus. Our interactions with others can seem testy, based upon past experiences and more of a responsibility than free-wheeling fun. As we are slightly unsure of ourselves today, our presentations can be less than gracious. Either we can be overbearing or we could be somewhat obsequious. Certainly, we are likely to feel out of sorts as we start the week. As the day progresses, the Moon moves into Virgo where it squares Mars. Even if we try to attend to our daily routine, we could find that we’re merely going through the steps, without due diligence, and that we are glossing over the specifics, skipping over the details. This Monday may not be manic but it could be heavy and have us feeling down. We might wonder where the summer has gone as we start to sense the encroachment of our Fall.

Tuesday, August 14th – Running in Circles – Mercury, Neptune, Lunar T-Square, Jupiter, Uranus. Tuesday continues the Neptune influence. Yesterday, we had the Sun opposed Neptune. Today, Mercury opposes Neptune. Added to a potentially confused mindset, we have the Virgo Moon creating a Mutable Sign T-Square as the Moon squares Jupiter in Sagittarius and opposes Uranus in Pisces. We may feel uncomfortable in our own skin, wanting to break free from our responsibilities and do something, anything, different. Since our brain might not be connected to our feet, we could be running in circles today, like a mouse in a maze, going here then there, all the while wondering what purpose we are serving in our running around. We can be running on a high level of nervous energy today, anxious, concerned about situations without putting our finger on the actual causation. A level of discontent could have us worrying and feeling like we have to react to situations rather than take a proactive stance. If we could just slow down, take a deep breath and chill out; then we might also be open to our intuitive hunches and have a more visionary perspective. Nice concept, but it could prove unlikely, for we could be so caught up in our personal agenda that we aren’t receptive to input, even if that input is an otherworldly ah-ha or signpost for us. Yesterday and today are not days to make definitive decisions or long-term commitments. We are too vulnerable, too confused to really know which end is up.

Wednesday, August 15th – Deep Intent – Venus, Pluto, Mercury, Sun. Can we take a sigh of relief? We should now that Monday and Tuesday are like water over the dam. Instead of being so strongly influenced by the Neptune energy, even though this whole fortnight between past Sunday’s New Moon and the Full Moon on the 28th is strongly influenced by Neptune; Wednesday provides us with a respite from the hurly-burly of confusion, vulnerability and a sense of not operating at full tilt. Wednesday has Venus trine Pluto, Mercury conjunct the Sun and the Virgo Moon square Pluto. Today, we are more willing to go deep and to the core rather than be intrigued by surface appearances and possibly deceived by images. We are less likely to skim over things today. Our relationships seem a great deal healthier. We are looking to have in our circle of friends those people who can truly contribute and add something to our lives. We’re not interested in shallow contacts. We want the whole enchilada --- passion, depth and meaning. Although we may be looking out for number one today, it is far healthier than some of the namby-pamby energies of the past two days. If we felt victimized over the past two days, this Wednesday we’re likely to rise up and cry out: ‘ victim no more!’. Like a metronome, we could swing from having been meek and reactive to being forceful, strident and proactive. We do need to watch for caroming from one extreme to the other. It’s all a question of balance. We can emphasize our creativity, our power, and our personal best today. But we do not have to be belligerent or overbearing to do so.

Thursday, August 16th – Branching Out, Touching Base – Mars, Jupiter. Thursday gives us a Libra Moon which trines Mars and sextiles Jupiter. Thursday can be an especially pleasant day to deal with those special people in our lives. We are still basking in the glow of all the Fire around us --- the stellium [three or more planets in one Sign] of the four planets in Leo – Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn – and the two planets in Sagittarius – Jupiter and Pluto. Combined with our fiery nature, today gives us the Libra Moon allowing us to be more considerate of other people and more interested in their perspective and their opinion. We may want to touch base with those special people in our lives, either by getting together with them for a leisurely meal or by reaching out and contacting them afar via e-mail, phone or a note by snail mail. We are not as interested in what we feel we need to do or what we feel compelled to do for our future. On the contrary, today is one of those days to kick back and enjoy the lazy, hazy days of summer with a good companion before summer disappears into autumn.

Friday, August 17th – Hail, Hail, the Gang’s All Here – Mercury, Venus, Pluto, Sun, Neptune. Friday has a great deal of energy and that energy is largely centering around friends and good times. Today Mercury conjuncts Venus, Venus conjuncts the Sun, Mercury trines Pluto and the Libra Moon trines Neptune. We may be feeling very upbeat, impassioned and ready to spend quality time with quality friends. Conversations can be deep and meaningful, even to the point of discussing the philosophical attributes of how we are doing life. A strong creative impetus can impel us to take in a show, a movie, a concert or some other pleasurable activity. Today is not a day to be alone. Even if we are by ourselves, we may reminisce about those special people that have sprinkled the times of our lives. We might even consider a personal makeover today, looking to improve our wardrobe, our home environment and our own makeup. A sense of beauty and decorum seems ever present. This can be one of those days when there is a lack of discord and everyone is beautiful in their own way.

Saturday, August 18th – Taking Care of Things – Mercury, Saturn, Venus, Sun, Pluto. The early morning hours seem the most energetic on this Saturday. We’re ready to go, enjoy the day and wishing to be unburdened by any errands. The day begins with the Libra Moon sextile Pluto and all four planets in Leo --- the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn. We might seem as though we are fast pedaling through the day. Our interactions with others are pleasant. Where a problem might arise is the Mercury Saturn conjunction. Everyone could have on a ‘happy face’, all the while masking a sense of despair, depression, even desperation. Our thoughts might be narrowed by focusing on our duties and responsibilities, the things we have to do. It would be wise to make a ‘to do’ list today, be certain that we take care of those things that need to be done and to then have time to truly enjoy ourselves. If we have responsibilities hanging over our head, it could put a damper on the entire day. As we start with that thrust of Libra – Fire energy, we might want to start the day with a coffee or tea with a friend at a local café before we address that which needs to be done. A little pleasantry early in the morning can go a long way to keeping us happy as we deal with those situations that have to be dealt with. Later in the day, the Moon moves into Scorpio. We could find that it is far easier to cut back on our ‘to do’ list, concentrating primarily on those that are a priority and skipping those that are truly superfluous. We do need to watch for people blowing their own horn and being opinionated, fixed and rigid in their perspective.

Sunday, August 19th – Cleaning Away, Cutting to the Core – Sun, Pluto, Uranus, Mercury Virgo. Sunday can be a highly effective day for concentrating on putting away things, preparing for the Autumn and cleaning up and clearing out any elements that only demand our time but give nothing back in return. The Sun trines Pluto and the Scorpio Moon trines Uranus. We may be looking at streamlining our lives, being more productive and working smarter rather than harder. Mercury leaves Leo to enter its own Sign of Virgo. After ten days of no planet in an Earth Sign, except for the transit of the Moon through Virgo mid-week, we are picking up some Earth. We can now be more practical, more concerned about the details and looking to blend the specifics with our fiery presentation. We have the ability to walk the walk and not solely talk the talk. Our attention turns increasingly towards our daily lives. Even if we are still on summer holiday, our thoughts are moving in the direction of our normal routine. This Sunday is a good day to blueprint, plan and to focus on the essentials and fundamentals of our lives. We are feeling impassioned and looking to make the necessary changes to our lives that will help free us up and allow us to concentrate on the truly meaningful.

August 20th - 26th

This week could have us feeling antsy. The sense of Summer drawing to a close may be poignant as we feel the weight of our responsibilities bearing down on us.

We may start the week feeling frustrated. Some of our greatest plans might seem thwarted. The Sun conjuncts Saturn. Our recent drive and passion can seem like idle musings as past issues and usual obligations start to call.

Although the Sun moves into Virgo beckoning us back to our normal routine, we are unwilling to let Summer pass.

A Mutable Sign T-Square to end the week keeps us hopping, seeking to expand our activities in our quest for fun and good times. Mars opposes Jupiter and Mercury squares Jupiter. We may push ourselves to extremes and gloss over details to embrace the bigger picture of what we want. Like a kid in a candy store, we could engage our sensual delights, wanting more and more. This push to indulgence is increased by Mercury square Mars and Venus opposed Neptune over the weekend.

Monday, August 20th – Itchy and Scratchy – Lunar T-Square, Neptune, Venus, Sun, Saturn. Monday starts the week with a Fixed Sign T-Square as the Scorpio Moon squares Neptune in Aquarius and squares the three planets in Leo of Venus, the Sun and Saturn. Yes, our old nemesis of the Saturn Neptune opposition is engaged, once again. We have certainly seen this configuration operating in the equity markets recently. The bloom has come off the rose of the housing market and its ancillaries of the mortgage market and financial equities. The easy credit and good times of this decade and the ‘90’s seem to have caught up with us. Like a rubber band, the excessive expansion is looking to a snap back in a stringent contraction. Or is it? With the Saturn Neptune opposition, we have to be careful, be very careful, about making assumptions based upon the appearances rather than the realities. The issue of fact vs. fiction is very much engaged as we are seeing with the roller-coaster ride in the markets and in people’s attitudes. With this Scorpio Moon T-Square operating, we have to avoid any blow-ups that could occur. We may be feeling on edge, recognize that other people are edgy and vulnerable to any explosive release. Like a volcano erupting, we and other people too can pop off at a moment’s notice. We may feel frustrated, confused, unsure of where to step and what to do. We may feel uncomfortable in our own skin, disappointed by our expectations in other people, and nursing a strong sense of restless discontent. Today is a day when it would be wise to count to ten before doing anything. And when we do decide to move forward, it would be wise to be flexible and adaptable. Maybe we want to go the distance, or maybe after a step or two, we might want to turn around, go back, reconsider and do something totally different. Our greatest error today would be to get too fixed, too opinionated, too stuck in our course of action. This Monday is a day to keep in mind the Taoist saying: ‘bend like a reed, or break like an oak’.

Tuesday, August 21st – Stops and Starts – Sun, Saturn, Lunar T-Square, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter. Don’t you just love the energies right now? Talk about extreme metronome movements. There are times when we feel totally blocked, frustrated and dealing with an inbox of constant delays. And then suddenly like a spring sprung, we’re shot out racing around like crazy people trying to accomplish this, that and the other and with what purpose? The purpose may be lost, or not even recognizable. It may just be that we have to do something, any thing, to get our restlessness out and released. Tuesday is somewhat like that. After yesterday’s drudge of wondering which way is up, possibly even leading to a catatonic state of dithering about without accomplishing much, Tuesday gives us a continuation of the Saturn energies as the Sun conjuncts Saturn. We may not have a great deal of energy today. We might feel wiped out or as though our plans are running counter to reality and facing sharp resistance from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. BUT, while we might want to nurse our wounds, our sense of busying ourselves could get the better of us thanks to the Moon moving into Sagittarius where it conjuncts Jupiter and creates a Mutable Sign T-Square by squaring Mercury and opposing Mars. Even if we’re totally exhausted, fatigued and lethargic, and pulling a hundred pound weight affixed to our ankle, we still might draw upon our adrenaline and our reserves to do something, anything, to try and get us out of our funk. Even if we feel we’ve hit a wall, we might still get up, harness our energy, and speed toward the wall again. Insanity has often been defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. We could easily fall into that category today. We may be feeling antsy, a frenetic energy that only speeds up later in the week. While we might feel blocked, we can try to deal with the energies in a more productive way. Instead of the starts and stops and starts of this day, we could actually put away some of our summer incidentals and work in spurts of energy. Today is a day of bringing close to the summer season and prepare for the autumn ahead. We don’t have to finalize everything in our completions and initiations. But the best use of today’s energies would be spreading ourselves out, having various activities going on, and taking time to rest and catch our breath without totally wearing ourselves out.

Wednesday, August 22nd – Searching for Tomorrow - Uranus, Neptune, Venus. Wednesday is often referred to as the ‘hump’ day of the week. This Wednesday provides us a respite from some of the frustrations of the past two days and some of the craziness of the next three days. With the Sagittarius Moon square Uranus, sextile Neptune and trine Venus, this Wednesday is a good day to allow ourselves to be impulsive, to do things on the spur of the moment, and to stretch beyond our usual parameters. Our connections with others can be pleasant. It allows us to get out of our own self-inflicted room full of mirrors with their various distortions and reflections that may truly reflect where we are but more probably present only illusionary, subjective representations. By getting over ourselves, we can lighten up, get off the track and actually enjoy some of the pleasantries of life. Since we may be far more interested in the possibilities today than our reality, today is a good day to take a breather, give ourselves a break and consider all possibilities, even those seeming impossibilities. Nurturing our dreams, letting our minds wander into what we would consider our perfect future are important. They give us the tonic of keeping on through the day-in, day-out realities of life. We might consider this Wednesday a ‘mental health’ day whereby we take the time to have fun, enjoy other people’s companies and bemusedly accept the saying that ‘life’s too mysterious, don’t take it serious.’

Thursday, August 23rd – Over the Top – Mars, Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn, Sun, Sun Virgo. Thursday re-engages the Mutable Sign T-Square that we felt on Tuesday. This energy goes on into the weekend. Today, we have Mars opposed Jupiter, tomorrow Mercury square Jupiter and on Saturday Mercury square Mars. Today starts a period of scurrying about, juggling a number of things, and being both scattered and a little over the top in our actions. To begin the day, we have the Sagittarius Moon conjunct Pluto and trine Saturn. We could be hell-bent for glory, pushing our agenda with passion, determination and drive. We do have to watch for being a little overconfident, feeling that we can move mountains and wanting to bend circumstance to our will. The Sun moves into Virgo and increasingly our sense of the summer drawing to a close and us getting back on the track of our normal, daily affairs impinges upon our desire for one last summer fling. The Moon moves into Capricorn where it trines the Sun having just entered Virgo. We may feel torn between our desire for having a good time and our need to ready for our return to our routine. With the Mutable energy flying around, we have to be careful not to gloss over details, neglect particulars or deny the specifics. We may be going a mile a minute right now, but it is essential that we don’t get wrapped up in the pace and lose sight of our itinerary or our intended destination.

Friday, August 24th – Grand Ideas – Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus. Friday continues with the Mutable Sign T-square. Today, Mercury squares Jupiter. We may have some grand ideas about where we want to go, how we want to go there, all with an expansionary perspective of bringing more into our lives. At what point shall we determine that enough is enough? Not today. No, today we may be looking at broadening our reach. From an exuberant framework, we might feel that there is no stopping us now. The Capricorn Moon trines Mercury and sextiles Uranus. In fact, we can be very inventive, methodical and streamlined in our approach and in our plans. If we don’t get carried away by our enthusiasms and optimisms, this day could be highly productive in moving our goals forward. It will be important for us to review, critique and evaluate along the way in order to fine tune, hone and refine what we’re doing and how we are doing it. The main problem with the energies right now is that we could take on more than we might truly want to involve ourselves in and that we might assume that our upbeat feeling will take care of any possible impediments in our way. Of course, there is a liability that we might not even consider possible impediments or potential problems and just assume that we can carry on easily, swiftly and successfully. And that would be a setup for self-sabotage and disappointment.

Saturday, August 25th – Bumping Along – Mercury, Mars, Venus, Neptune, Moon Void-of-Course. The third leg of our Mutable Sign T-Squar occurs on this Saturday with Mercury square Mars. Our minds may be flooding with ideas and thoughts but not all of them are necessarily well considered. We may feel a barrage of information, wanting to be a conduit, and find ourselves chattering away. Talking the talk could be the highlight of day, although it could also be the lowlight, since this is a day when talk could be plentiful, even to the point of being non-stop. Conversations and discussions can go on and on. Instead of a brief synopsis of events and situations, we could be involved in lengthy diatribes with all the intimate details and superfluous commentaries. We might fall prey to fatigue by overload and cry out: ‘shut up’ to all and sundry. Too much information could be part of this day. Unfortunately, if we go that route of either overwhelming or being overwhelmed by incessant talk, then we have to be careful that we don’t negatively impact our relationships. We also have Venus opposed Neptune today. While we could be entranced by someone, our evaluation of other people --- their character, their motives --- may be more wishful thinking or negative critiquing than an honest evaluation. We could either put people on pedestals or imagine their worst flaws. We do have to watch for the trickster, a person who might appear one way, their true character and intent being totally different. With the Moon Void-of-Course making no further planetary connections as it finishes its transit of Capricorn and before entering Aquarius later in the day, this Saturday does not have a great deal of productive energy to get much done. On the contrary, this day could be all about the talk, with nothing backing it up, and about the presentation, the image possibly not matched by the reality. Although we may want to be active, today is a day to test the waters without diving into the deep end.

Sunday, August 26th – Taking a Break – Jupiter, Mars. Sunday could prove a pleasant day, a day of rest from all the craziness swirling around us over the past few days. With the Aquarius Moon sextile Jupiter and trine Mars, this Sunday would be a good day to take a drive in the country, get off the track and take a break from some of the insanities of the modern world, and the crazies in our personal world. By getting out of Dodge, we can gain a fresh perspective. Although we may have been caught up in juggling a number of different things this past week, taking care of our autumn preparations yet wanting to enjoy the lushness of summer fun, this Sunday allows us a respite in which to consider our possibilities, muse over our possibilities and dream a little dream. We can certainly do so by getting into unfamiliar terrain where our daily circumstances do not impinge upon our reveries. This Sunday is a day to enjoy ourselves, put on hold our responsibilities and take time to do what we want to do without other people’s input or the sense of our responsibilities hanging over us.

August 27th - September 2nd

This week is lit up by the Pisces Full Moon. With a Grand Cross in the Mutable Signs as the Pisces Moon opposes the Virgo Sun, squares Jupiter in Sagittarius and squares Mars in Gemini; this week could have us all over the place. Our emotions could go through a real whipsaw, up and down. We may feel buffeted by circumstance.

At the time of the Full Moon, Mercury opposes Uranus, both in Mutable Signs. While we could get some startling insights, even ‘Eureka’ moments of solving problems long plaguing us, things are moving very quickly and we need to be nimble and quick to take advantage of sudden opportunities and to deal with unexpected situations.

The pace is accelerating rapidly and we need to pick up our pace to a sprint. We may feel on overdrive this week, having more on our plate than we intended.

We need to be careful that our actions are not rash and impetuous. We might find ourselves being carried away by the frenetic energy and that could lead to us feeling frantic.

We begin September over the weekend, a weekend highlighted in the stars by Saturn endings its two and half year transit of Leo and entering Virgo for the next two and a half years. Saturn coming into Virgo creates a stellium of three or more planets in one Sign with Saturn joining the Sun and Mercury. With Saturn in Virgo, our focus turns to health issues, intestinal matters, dietary concerns, work situations and the more mundane aspects of doing life.

Monday, August 27th – Where Are We Going? And How Are We Getting There? – Venus, Neptune, Pluto, Saturn. Monday starts the week with us a little dazed, slightly off kilter and unsure of our direction or our itinerary. We start the week with the Aquarius Moon conjunct Neptune, sextile Pluto and opposed Venus and Saturn. If we read between the lines, we can see our old nemesis, the Saturn Neptune opposition, at play. This configuration has been haunting us, daunting us, since last Autumn. And this Monday gives us its last hurrah. The conundrum between fact and fiction is up for us again, but for the last go round since Saturn will be moving out of Leo and no longer in opposition to Neptune when we come to Sunday with Saturn moving into Virgo. But that’s for later in this week. The beginning of this week has us doing the dance, the two-step, moving forward with a desire to embrace our future, then hesitating, wondering whether we are sure-footed and then possibly stepping back. This back and forth can have us in a quandry today. We might want to just forget it all and instead take time for some last enjoyable summer events. Anything serious or meticulous today might work in concept but could prove harder to realize in the practical application. Let’s go slow today, a nice concept, but one that might be hard for us to engage, especially in light of tomorrow’s impending Lunar Eclipse with its Grand Cross in Mutable Signs. For today, let’s take a breather, enjoy the moment and not try to figure it all out.

Tuesday, August 28th – Total Eclipse of the… Moon – Mercury, Uranus, Lunar Eclipse, Pisces Full Moon, Lunar Grand Cross, Sun, Jupiter, Mars. If the planetary configurations don’t scare us, then we might be able to make it through this day unscathed. Not too likely, however, unless we are nimble and quick and able to deal with unexpected situations cropping up repeatedly. This Tuesday is a day to give it up to the universe and try to maintain a steady balance. Today we have Mercury opposed Uranus. We can certainly get some remarkable insights, flashes of genius, if we’re willing to think outside the box and use both our visionary sense and our analytical reasoning mind. It’s a tall order, but if we can do it, then we could come up with interesting solutions to any situations that have had us in a quandry. This configuration and this day are my least favorite for air travel. We really need to keep track of the weather, since storm systems could unleash a torrent of rain with flash flooding possible. The Mercury Uranus opposition would be enough for one day, but that’s not the only heads-up we have today. For this Tuesday also gives us a Total Eclipse of the Moon with the Pisces Full Moon creating a Grand Cross in the Mutable Signs by opposing the Sun, squaring Jupiter and squaring Mars. Anxiety levels and the push-pulls of unanticipated variables can be ratcheted up severalfold. We may not know whether we’re coming and going and we could be doing both at virtually the same time. This Tuesday could be one crazy day if we don’t get a handle on it by being adaptable, willing to work in spurts of energy and cutting back on the stimuli of caffeine and sweets. I’m not a shutter the windows, bar the door kind of guy. BUT today would certainly call for having our eyes wide open with eyes in the back of our head and keeping vigilant for surprises. This Tuesday plans can go awry, so let’s avoid being too attached to our schedule or our intentions for the day. This day is one when we need to ‘go with the flow’, even if the flow turns into cascading rapids.

Wednesday, August 29th – Out of the Box – Uranus, Lunar T-Square, Mercury, Pluto. Just when we thought it might be over, it keeps on coming instead. This Wednesday has the Pisces Moon conjunct Uranus and creating a Mutable Sign T-Square by opposing Mercury and squaring Pluto. Although yesterday’s Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse may be over, as that great philosopher Yogi Berra has said: ‘it ain’t over ‘til it’s over’. And today, it just ain’t over. The frenetic energy of yesterday continues on into this Wednesday. Our emotions could easily get the better of us, and we can go through some real whipsaws of emotions, flying high only to fall deep into anxiety. Perhaps it’s the sense of the impending end of summer that is bothering us. We certainly don’t want to get back on the track of our daily experience. We want excitement and to do things differently. Maybe we are still trapped between our desires and our reality, assuming that our dreams cannot come true, finding our existence to be lifeless and unable to see the daily minor miracles that are part of the mosaic of our lives. If we can get out of our own way, think outside the box and allow ourselves to be open to the magic of the universe, then today could provide some interesting surprises. The more we can act on the spontaneous level today, the better it would be. Our thinking can be skewed by our emotions, so let’s be certain that we’re not acting on our fears or wishes without a good reality check along the way. Tuesday and Wednesday could prove intense, no doubt about it. But the degree to which we react to changes and the unexpected will also determine the extremes to which we are likely to go.

Thursday, August 30th - Getting a Grip – Jupiter. After what may have been a very emotional week so far, Thursday gives us a chance to get a grip. Instead of all this Pisces and Mutable Sign energy flying around, Thursday offers a spark, a little bit of fire. The Moon is in Aries and today the Moon trines Jupiter. We may feel that we’re less reactive than we have been for the past few days. We could feel like we’ve got our rhythm and our pace back again. We might feel less victimized, less at the whims of circumstance and more in control of our actions and on top of our plans. This Thursday is a good day to initiate new actions and to spread our wings. We’re more upbeat, more exuberant and may have the sense that we can actually create a future that is far more expansive and more exuberant than our past. We could also decide to take the day and start a very long weekend as we approach the long holiday weekend in the US with next Monday’s Labor Day. We want some fun today. Doesn’t matter what’s going on in the world-at-large or our own personal world. We want to put our mark and our imprint upon today’s activities and doing so with a big smiley face. If it means going it alone, no matter, we’ll forge ahead. We just do not want to be bogged down by people’s emotional dramas or entangled in situations that we can do very little about. Party! Well, we might not go to that extreme, but this Thursday is one when we’re looking at walking on the sunny side of the street.

Friday, August 31st – Going for the Glory – Mars, Neptune, Lunar Grand Trine, Venus, Pluto. After yesterday’s shift in the winds and in the energies, this Friday accelerates our sense of good feeling. Today, the Aries Moon sextiles both Mars and Neptune and creates a Fire Grand Trine by trining Venus in Leo and trining Pluto in Sagittarius. We may be hitting the road, unless we already did so yesterday. We may want to get out of town, enjoy a long and fun-filled summer weekend. In the US, this weekend upcoming is the unofficial end of the summer with Labor Day on Monday. We might want one major summertime blowout this weekend. We are certainly geared up for fun on this Friday. We’re likely to be feeling at the top of our game, impassioned and determined to grab for all the gusto we can get. Some of our activities might also be in preparation for our autumn ahead. Even though we’re very much in the moment, and with a moment accentuating pleasure, the sense of our workaday world impinging upon us might also be evident. All in all, this Friday could be the best day of this week. Let’s enjoy, have fun, and live for the day. Carpe diem!

Saturday, September 1st – Fast Start for a Slow Day – Saturn, Sun. Friday night ends with the Aries Moon trine Saturn. In the early morning hours of Saturday, the Moon moves out of fiery Aries and moves into Taurus, a more pragmatic, plodding and Fixed Sign. The Moon trines the Sun. No matter how much we might try to hold onto our summer pleasures, the sense of our responsibilities and our daily existence becomes ever more present. Even if we’re on holiday this weekend, we might find ourselves going off to the Mall for some special sales in readiness for getting back in the swing of things. Today is a good day to line our ducks up in a row, to take care of the necessary preparations for getting back on the track. While this past week could have had us racing at top speed, earlier in the week at a frenetic pace, later in the week with passionate determination, Saturday seems to slow things down. We’re more likely to be taking things one at a time. We’re not as much in a huge rush. Our appetites could prove insatiable, so we do need to watch for spending too much or eating too much. Too much of a good thing is… too much.

Sunday, September 2nd – Accounting for Specifics - Uranus, Mercury, Lunar T-Square, Venus, Neptune, Saturn Virgo. Sunday has the Taurus Moon sextile Uranus and trine Mercury. But the Taurus Moon also creates a Lunar T-Square in the Fixed Signs as the Moon squares Venus in Leo and squares Neptune in Aquarius. We may want to do something exciting today, but if we’re dependent upon other people’s input, we could find various possibilities suggested only to be dismissed. We certainly could come up with interesting ways of pursuing our goals and our ambitions. Blueprinting our plans might offer some startling ideas and interesting solutions. Interactions with others could be a little dicey but largely because not everyone is on the same page today. This Sunday is also major major for the fact that today Saturn leaves Leo and enters Virgo. Saturn has ended its two and a half year cycle in the Fixed Fire Sign of Leo and has begun its two and a half year cycle in the Mutable Earth Sign of Virgo. In so doing, we now have a stellium of three or more planets in Virgo with Saturn joining Mercury and the Sun. Increasingly, our focus turns to our normal, daily activities. With Saturn in Virgo issues associated with our work, with our health and with our being a little nit-picky can come under scrutiny.
